CLUB NEWS

Congratulations to Mike Bourke who is the new holder of the Gent’s Improver Trophy for 2006/07.At the time of writing I am sending the current holder (Ambar) a nasty letter as it is now overdue to be returned. As with last year, the Ladies Trophy will not be awarded as no lady has made any significant improvement.

 

TOURNAMENTS AT LASSWADE

As no one came forward by the April 21^st deadline, this means that our Albion round in June has been cancelled. However, in October we will be running a Combined Fita Round, 5dozen arrows at 25 metres on a 60 cm face and 5dozen arrows at 18 metres on a 40 cm face. This shoot will be in addition to our Portsmouth round in November and our Double Worcester round next March. More details for the Combined Fita Round will appear in a later future newsletter.

 

CLUB FEES

I hope by now that all Club fees have been paid or those using instalment methods have continued to pay. If Frank reports that any member’s Club fees have lapsed, and as their GNAS/SAA fees are still valid they will be only be allowed to shoot as a visitor and will have to pay the standard target fee for each session.

 

GNAS FEES

At the GNAS AGM back in April it was agreed by the meeting that the GNAS fee will be increased from £30.00 to £32.00. This is in addition to the £3.00 increase in the SAA fees. These increases will come into effect for the 2007/08  season. More details nearer the time.

 

LASSWADE EUROPEAN POSTAL LEAGUE

For those members who will be shooting monthly rounds a supply of score sheets will be kept in the inside store along with some score boards. P.S. As I was putting this edition together Mark informed me that he may not be able to run the league.

AUGUST   “         22^ND    FINAL Round

All the above monthly rounds are subject to Mark being able to run them.

 

AUGUST  Wednesday 29^th  LAST outdoor session for 2007.
