CLUB NEWS

 

OUTDOOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS – SUNDAY , 30^TH AUGUST 2009

 

As mentioned in the last newsletter we will be holding our Outdoor Championships on the above date.

Nearer the time I will issue most of you with details of the shoot and all the other arrangements. I hope those of you who say you read the newsletter on our web – site will do so as to save on un – necessary postage I will not be issuing any detail forms to members who have not attended the club in the past 6 months or so or who have not done any outdoor shooting to get the distances required for the shoot. However, those members are still welcome providing they contact me of their intentions to shoot.

 

PS.  Would the following members please return their Club Shields on or before the day of the shoot: -

      

        LADIES – JOAN, GENTS – DAVID R, JUNIORS – JACK AND COMPOUNDS – BILLY.

 

 

AFFILIATION FEES FOR 2009/10

 

Also mentioned in the last issue was the subject of the above fees. By the time you read this issue Adelle should have received the current lists of affiliated members which she will pass on to me. Although the closing date for these fees is September the 30^th providing I have the lists you can pay these fees before the closing date.

When I have received your appropriate fee I will issue you with your new GNAS card for 2009/10. I will remind you of the current fees in the next issue although you can see them in the previous issue.

Please remember that unlike your Club fees these fees must be made by a single payment and should be in cash or by a cheque made payable to Lasswade Archery Club.

When you receive your new card remember to SIGN IT and DESTROY your old card for 2008/09.

 

OTHER NEWS

 

There is not anything else to report as such but I wanted to take this opportunity to remind members and especially newer members that I am always looking for you to submit any items or suggestions you may have for future editions of the newsletter, normally, 100% of the content is usually done by me. Remember, this is YOUR newsletter!
